Exercise is not something I love. I have been trying to get serious about my fitness for years, I think. No doubt it

Sleep, how important is it? Today’s guest post is about to be a special one. faith and turtles joins us today to talk about the importance of sleeping. Be sure to check out her blog and don’t forget to subscribe for content every Monday to Thursday.
Many people grew up hearing the phrase ‘beauty sleep’. I for one, am famous for saying that I need to get my beauty sleep. But, in saying this I had no idea if it was actually true. Does sleep actually make you more attractive or are you just wasting time (that can be spent stacking coins) by making sure you get at least 8 hours every night?
IT IS NOT A MYTH! Instead of wasting more precious time let me just be straight up with you in saying it is not a myth.
That’s right, getting more sleep will actually make you more attractive. To some, this might be a shock but to other’s, it might be simple common sense.
Just as you need to shut down your computer at the end of a workday, you need to shut down your body as well. While you rest, there are many things that are happening with your body, making it ready for another day.
A good night’s sleep will make you more alert and in turn more productive. A study was conducted in Sweden to test the ‘beauty sleep’ concept. The researchers found that people who got a good night’s rest looked better. This was done by using comparative photographs.
Now, why would you believe this? Well, other studies that were conducted actually found similar results. If that doesn’t convince you then maybe the fact that lack of sleep can cause social anxiety might.
Apart from the health aspect, there is the social aspect. When you don’t get enough sleep you will most definitely be grumpy and no one wants to communicate with a grumpy person.
You may also bring negative energy to others. Don’t be that person who walks into the office on a Monday morning with a bad face ruining everyone’s mood.
Be the person who gets a good nights rest and says Good Morning! You see, the cranky person is not attractive. So, with just that you can definitely say that more sleep will make you more attractive.
As for how much hours of sleep you need, the science says 8 hours. I say, what does your body say? My body needs 10 hours, you may need 6, below that, I don’t recommend. But, do what works for you.
Tip: Dennis Gross a dermatologist highly recommends a nighttime skincare routine. When you sleep, the cells in your skin are regenerating. What this means is that just as you need to feed your body the right foods that will keep you motivated.
Check out the post above to know more on what foods will help keep you motivated.
You need to give the skin cells in your face the right vitamins. A simple and cheap way to do this is to apply coconut oil to your face right before bed. Yes! coconut oil saves the day again! Try this tip and tell me if it works.
That’s all Kings and Queens.
